Action tarivid antibiotic based on its constituent ofloxacin, which is part of a group of fluoroquinolone, inhibits bacteria such: aeromonads, branhamella kataralis, Brucella, Chlamydia, tsitrobakter, Clostridium perfringens, Enterobacter, Escherichia coli, causative agent of chancroid (Haemophilus ducreyi) and Haemophilus influenzae , Helicobacter pylori, Klebsiella, Legionella, Mycoplasma, moraksella, meningococcus, Proteus, Staphylococcus, Yersinia, Shigella, Salmonella. Indications tarivid

Tarivid of instruction prescribed for infections of the respiratory tract, nose, ear, throat, biliary tract, abdomen, urinary tract, urethra, kidney, prostate, and gynecological infections.

Instructions tarivid - method of application

Tarivid administered only intravenously.

For patients with normal kidney function recommended dose is 400 mg antibiotic per day. Enter the drug twice a day with a break of 12 hours. Depending on the dosage can decrease or increase. Side effects tarivid

Tarivid can cause abdominal pain, enterocolitis, anorexia, allergies, dizziness, insomnia, agitation, bloating, confusion, drowsiness, depression, appetite loss, tachycardia, hypotension, decreased pressure, myalgia, tendinitis, arthralgia, anemia, eosinophilia, agranulocytosis, pancytopenia. Antibiotic tarivid not be taken for epilepsy during pregnancy, breast-feeding, if you are allergic to ofloxacin and other quinolones.
