Pharmacological action

Bonifen - a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, has a pronounced analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effect.

Product form

Bonifen produced in the form:

  • Blue oval biconvex tablets containing 275 mg of naproxen sodium;
  • Blue oval biconvex tablets with Valium on one side, containing 550 mg of naproxen sodium (Bonifen Forte).

Excipients - talc, povidone, purified water, microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate, for 10 tablets in a blister pack.

Indications Bonifen

According to the instructions Bonifen used for:

  • Diseases of the musculoskeletal system, including rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, juvenile chronic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Bonifen contraindicated for instructions apply:

Instructions for use Bonifen

Bonifen Tablets (275 mg) were taken with sufficient water. The dosage of the drug depends on the etiology of the pain:

  • Bonifen daily dose as an analgesic is from 2 to 4 tablets. In very severe pain may use Bonifen 6 tablets per day, up to two weeks;

Children weighing more than 27 kg or older than 9 years prescribed daily dose rate of 10 mg per 1 kg of body weight.

 Bonifen Forte

  • Skin rash, angioedema, urticaria, erythema multiforme, epidermal necrosis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome.
