Melaxen released in the form of round film-coated tablets of white or white with a yellow tint, and 12 tablets in a blister. Each tablet contains the active ingredient - Melatonin 3 mg.

Auxiliary components: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, calcium hydrogenphosphate.

Melaxen analogues are: Melatonin, Tsirkadin and Vita-melatonin.

Pharmacological action

Melaxen - a chemical analogue of biogenic amines melatonin is adaptogenic drug. It is synthesized from the amino acids of vegetable origin.

Melaxen - a synthetic analogue of the hormone of the pineal gland. It normalizes the circadian rhythms. Regulates sleep-wake cycle and diurnal variations of body temperature and physical activity.

Application melaxen normalizes night's sleep and improves its quality, accelerates the process of sleep, reduces the number of nighttime awakenings, does not cause a feeling of weakness, fatigue, and weakness in the morning waking up, makes you feel good after the morning awakening, dreams are more emotionally intense and vivid.

Drug Interactions

Application melaxen in combination with beta-blockers and drugs depressing the central nervous system, enhances their effect.

It is not recommended to combine melaxen with hormonal therapy.

The drug is not compatible with cyclosporine, corticosteroids and MAO.
