Loceryl - topical solution
 Loceryl - external antifungal drug used to treat fungal infections of the nails of hands and feet.

Pharmacological action

The active substance Loceryl has fungicidal and fungistatic action, which is caused by damage to the cytoplasmic membrane of fungal pathogens. The drug during the day enters the nail plate and the nail bed where the effective concentration of up to 10 days.

In the opinion of Loceryl it has a broad spectrum of action and active against rare and common pathogens of fungal nail infections:

  • Molds - Scopulariopsis spp., Alternaria spp., Hendersonula spp .;
  • Dimorphic fungi - Histoplasma spp., Coccidioides spp., Sporothrix spp .;
  • Yeasts - Cryptococcus spp., Candida spp., Malassezia spp .;
  • Mushrooms from the family Dematiaceae - Fonsecaea spp., Cladopsorium spp., Wangiella spp .;
  • Dermatophytes - Trichophyton spp., Epidermophyton spp, Microsporum spp ..

With the exception of Actinomyces, bacteria are not sensitive to the active substance Loceryl.

Loceryl produced in the form of 5% solution for external use, containing 1 ml of 50 mg amoroifine. The dark vials of 2, 5, and 5 ml.

Loceryl of instruction is contraindicated:

  • In case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or auxiliary components of the drug;
  • During the period of lactation;
  • When pregnancy.

Dosing Loceryl

Loceryl used externally by applying on the affected nails up to two times a week.

With the help supplied with the drug nail files before starting treatment, remove the affected areas of the nail, then the nail surface is cleaned and degreased with an alcohol swab, which is also attached to the drug.
