Holagol - integrated  Packing Holagol
 drug, has antispasmodic and choleretic effect.

Structure and Composition

Holagol produced in the form of drops for oral administration containing the following active components: essential oil of peppermint, magnesium salicylate, dyes turmeric root, eucalyptus essential oil, frangulomodin.

Additional components: olive oil, menthol, ethanol 95%.

In vials of 10 ml.

Holagol analogues are the following drugs: Allohol, artichoke extract, Hepabel, Gepatsinar, Polyphytol, Flamini Holedius, Holosas, Tsinaholin.

According to the instructions Holagol has laxative, antispasmodic and choleretic effect.

Indications Holagol

According to the instructions Holagol shown at:

  • chronic cholangitis and cholecystitis (in remission);
  • cholelithiasis;
  • chronic liver disease in the event of dyspepsia;
  • in case of dyspepsia after surgery on the biliary tract.


  • severe renal impairment;
  • hypersensitivity to the components;
  • during pregnancy and breastfeeding;
  • acute inflammation of the liver and biliary tract;
  • the age of twelve.

In the opinion of Holagol should be used with caution in brain injuries, epilepsy and alcoholism.

Dosing and dosing regimen Holagol

The preparation and analogues Holagol taken orally. The dosage is generally about 5-10 drops onto a piece of sugar for half an hour before a meal three times a day. The interval between doses of the drug should not be less than five hours.

In the case of starting  Holagol vial
 biliary colic allowed to increase the dosage to 20 drops at a time.

The maximum daily dosage is 30 drops.

To avoid or minimize dyspepsia, permitted the drug during or after meals.

The course of the drug - 6 weeks.

Side effects Holagol

In the opinion of Holagol mostly well tolerated by patients. There may be side effects in the form of heartburn, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and allergic reactions.


In the opinion of Holagol an overdose can cause diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, cramps.
