Pharmacological action Dermazina

The active substance Dermazina provides a wide spectrum of antibacterial activity.

Cream is active against almost all kinds of microbes that cause infections burn wounds and other skin surface, including Escherichia coli, Enterobacter spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus spp., Proteus spp., Streptococcus spp., Klebsiella spp., As well as some herpes virus strains and yeasts.

Dermazin when applied to the skin surface or burn penetrates the necrotic tissue and exudate, and inhibits the growth of bacteria due to the slow and continuous release of silver sulfadiazine.

Product form

Dermazin release as a 1% white cream for external use in cans of 250 g and 50 g tubes 1 g of cream contains 10 mg of silver sulfadiazine.

Excipients - peanut oil, cetyl alcohol, propylene glycol, polysorbate 60, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate and purified water.

Indications Dermazina

Dermazin contraindicated for instructions apply:

  • In children younger than 2 months and in preterm neonates;
  • During childbirth;

  • Leukopenia;

  • Toxic nephrosis;
  • Exfoliative dermatitis;
  • Dyspepsia;
  • Hepatocellular necrosis;

  • Disorders of the central nervous system.

With prolonged use Dermazina on large surfaces of the skin the risk of systemic side effects increases.
