Pharmacological action


Ascorutinum a vitamin preparation containing ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and rutin (vitamin P).

Application Ascorutinum reduces fragility and permeability of capillaries, strengthening the vascular wall, reducing its inflammation and swelling. Water-soluble vitamins contained in the product, are involved in carbohydrate metabolism, redox processes, the formation of steroid hormones, regeneration and the synthesis of connective tissue. Ascorutin has radioprotective (weaken the effect of radiation on the body) and antioxidant properties.

Indications Ascorutinum

This drug is given in the following cases:

  • low flow or lack of vitamin P and C;
  • destruction of capillaries as a result of salicylates and anticoagulants.

According to the instructions, Ascorutin can also be used as part of the treatment of diseases related to violation of vascular permeability: retinal hemorrhage, hemorrhagic diathesis, radiation sickness, kapillyarotoksikoz, rheumatic fever, bacterial endocarditis, glomerulonephritis.

Ascorutin should be taken orally, adolescents and adults 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day, children over 3 years - half or one whole tablet per day. The course of treatment is usually 3-4 weeks.
