Formula antipyrine
 Antipyrin - antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

Release form and composition

The drug is available as a powder for solution and tablets for oral dosage of 0, 1 and 0 g, 25 g of 10 pieces in the package.


The drug has antipyretic, analgesic, antiinflammatory, hemostat and (when applied topically) effect.

In accordance with the instructions, Antipyrin used for neuralgia, colds, in the treatment of rheumatism, diseases of the joints with pain, feverish conditions. Local drug used in the nosebleeds.


The application has the following contraindications antipyrine:

  • Hypersensitivity to the drug;
  • Severe renal and hepatic failure, as well as progressive liver and kidney disease;
  • III trimester of pregnancy;
  • Hyperkalemia;
  • Ulcerative and inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;
  • Gastro-intestinal bleeding.

Dosage and Administration

According to the instructions, in the form of tablets Antipyrin are inside: adults - at 0, 25-0, 5 g; children over six months - for 0, 025-0, 15 g 2-3 times a day. The maximum single dose for adults is 1 g daily - 3 years

To stop nosebleeds use 10-20% solution of the drug, which moistened wipes or swabs.

Side effects

Application antipyrine can cause allergic reactions such as urticaria.


When co-administered with drugs enhance the effect of myelotoxicity haematotoxicity antipyrine.


Similarly with antipyrine action the following drugs: Akofil, Analgin, Andipal, Baralgetas, Pentalgin, spazgan, Spazmalgon, Kvatroks, Tempalgin, Tetralgin, Sedalgin.
